We remove the lyre to prevent damage, as this is a very delicate part of the piano.
We protect the lid from banging against the piano with furniture pads.
We wrap the entire piano cabinet with furniture pads secured with giant rubber bands.
Almost fully wrapped.
Each leg travels in it’s own custom-made padded leg bag.
Legs are packed and ready to go!
After being wrapped in the pads, the piano is strapped to keep everything in place.
It is then placed on one of our piano dollies to head out to the trailer.
Once it is in the trailer, the straps are affixed to the trailer wall so the piano doesn’t move during transport.
